Dabeinong Group implements the "innovation-driven development" strategy, and technological innovation is one of the three core competitiveness of the group. As of now, Dabeinong Group (including some subsidiaries) targets new compound additive premixes, new microbial feed additives, new hybrid corn and hybrid rice varieties, swine vaccines, new Chinese veterinary drugs, and biological pesticides:

• Applied for more than 1,300 patents and authorized 800;
• 460 applications for new plant variety rights and 130 valid authorizations;
• 9 computer software registration rights;
• Participated in the formulation of one national standard and 44 industrial standards;
• 8 national new veterinary medicine certificates;
• 64 new crop varieties under national review;
• 5 national key new products;
• 1 national new feed additive certificate;
• 33 key new products in Beijing;
• In 2011, the national science and technology project “Piglet Healthy Breeding Nutrition Feed Control Technology and Application” declared by Dabeinong Group won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award;
• In 2012, the "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Prevention and Control of Important Animal Virus Diseases" participated by Dabeinong Group won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award;
• In 2013, the project "Research and Application of Two-line Hybrid Rice Technology" with the participation of Golden Nonghua, a subsidiary of Dabeinong Group, won the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
• In 2015, the project “Key Technologies and Applications of Efficient Reduction and Use of Pesticides Targeted by Pesticides”, which was participated by Green Nonghua, a subsidiary of Dabeinong Group, won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award
• 4 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards;
• The Group has undertaken and participated in 69 national, provincial and municipal projects.
